Skit
Al
Ristorante – You are at a restaurant with a friend and
you are looking through the menu. A waiter approaches and asks you what you
would like to eat this evening. Create a conversation between two customers and
the waiter.
Some helpful words are:
Benvenuto/i/a/e – Welcome.
Il cliente – customer
Il cameriere – waiter (m.)
La cameriera – waiter (f.)
Desiderare – to desire, to want
Vorrei – I would like…
Grazie – thank you
Prego - you’re welcome
Raccomandare - to recommend
Write a 30 sentence (total) skit in a group of three. Lines should
be distributed evenly. If you are in a group of four, you must have 40 lines.
- The following phrases do not count as a “line” or a “sentence.”
– Ciao, anch’io, arrivederci, grazie, prego, etc.
- A line or a sentence must have a conjugated verb.
- Every person in each group should be writing the skit. One
person should not be doing all the work.
- Groups will begin their presentations tomorrow. All groups will
be given 20 minutes in class tomorrow to continue to work on skits before
presentations. Lines do not have to be memorized, but you should be creative
and comfortable with your lines.
- One final draft should be handed in before you present so that I
may follow along. If you have three people in you group, you should have four
copies of your skit (one for me).
-Please make your skit creative and fun.
-Remember – if you use Google translate or “receive help” from
anybody but your group or a dictionary, you will receive a 0. It is very easy
for me to determine if the work you present is not your own as we are limited
in what we have learned thus far and only know how to conjugate certain verbs.
-This will be worth a quiz grade.
